Sometimes, I’m not angry, I’m hurt

Sometimes, I'm not angry, I'm hurt

What hurts most is that you wasted your time with person that does not deserve your attention.

Always below anger is hurt and pain. Anger is a defense. ~ Ian Cousins

Anger is defending oneself when you feel threatened. Any time you have an outburst, just ask yourself what you fear losing and be honest with yourself, even if it makes you cry, then tell yourself your mind is mistakenly telling you have much less control over your situation than you actually do, and work toward self control. It’s the only thing you can really control. To the situations you can’t control, give everything you can, build the world you want to see, acquire skills to improve your life and the lives of people around you. Feed the hopes, not the fears. ~ Oliva Sullen

Hurt is hard to hide, if you let them know maybe they won’t be a part of your life anymore, so you bury it deep inside and let it eat at you, hurts you but not them. ~ Joan Olson

We cannot see our own faults. So when others point them out we should pay attention and be grateful and we should not be too eager to see the weaknesses in others. ~ Gurmel Singh

None believes it, you say you aren’t mad and they say yes you are. I get hurt a lot more than I ever get mad. ~ Donna Davidson
